I won't bore anyone with yet another post about Zumba, although I am more likely to get up from the sofa for something a little different to get me motivated. Given this, when I was introduced to the prospect of a British Military Fitness session I was definitely intrigued! I can't say I had much knowledge of the company but my flatmate assured me he had seen them training in our local park and it seemed good fun, luckily I am not easily embarrassed as the thought of a public workout can be more than a little intimidating.
After meeting the group in the park both the trainers and the other people taking the session were so friendly and encouraging I soon had forgotten all concerns about being in full public view as we were all doing it together and at the end of the day - we're the ones getting off our bums and doing something!

Despite the fact it was hard I had so much fun and actually loved the fact it was difficult, proud that I pushed myself through something like that. Granted, I ached for 4 days straight but who doesn't love a good after work-out ache to remind you your doing a great job!
I am led to believe they have sessions all over the country and would definitely recommend it to anyone of my friends. For more info check out their website at http://www.britmilfit.com/
